Water, Sanitation and hygiene (WASH): Water is a basic necessity of life. It is a free gift of nature to the entire living creature without which human inalienable rights to life is threatened. As such, LOCDIN believes that no human irrespective of status, background and belief system should be denied access to clean and drinkable water. Government across all levels in Nigeria is primarily responsible for providing adequate access to basic amenities including safe drinking water for all Nigerians. LOCDIN complements the efforts by government in providing this life-saving resource to rural communities across the country. This is achieved through the provisions of potable water boreholes, provision of sanitation facilities like toilets and urinals, and promotion of personal and environmental hygiene in vulnerable and at-risk local communities across the nation.
